Mailing Lists at the University of Birmingham

Mailing lists facilities at The University of Birmingham supported by Information Services are available on the Central Mail Server. The software used to administer these lists is called majordomo. This allows owners of lists to administer the lists remotely and allows automatic joining and leaving facilities whenever this is appropriate.
Majordomo does support features such as digests and archiving of lists. These features are not currently offered, but it is planned to support these in due course. The following locally produced documentation is available.
